RSS Quick Start

Adam Curry was reviewing the downloads for his podcast a couple of weeks ago, and discovered that only a small portion of his listeners were using an iPodder-type client. It seems most listeners were getting their content manually.

My guess is that most web logs are also read manually, rather than with the aid of an RSS agreggator. I rely on both my iPodder and FeedDemon tools to connect my to a ton of information, via the magic of RSS, that I wouldn’t have the time to find the old fashioned way. Will Richardson’s blog is one of my oldest subscriptions, and his posts are a constant source of good ideas and information.
