Collaboration Software betas

We’re off on vacation for a couple of days relaxing in beautiful Burlington Vermont. So no big thoughtful posts for now. But I couldn’t resist a quick post, with likes to some interesting collaborative software I’ve come across.

This one sounds very promising, and could be of great use –

InstaColl: Instant Collaboration, Document sharing
Presenting InstaColl
- an easier way to securely share your Microsoft Office documents in real time.

These two seem interesting, although they will need some greater exploration and fooling with to see if they’d be really useful:

Online Playlists — shared readings and other content on a particular topic — h2obeta.law.harvard.edu/home.do

Visual web lists — wists.com/everyone

There are more and more of these online services coming out. Most are interesting but I don’t know if they will last. But most nip around the edges of some very cool ideas, so they are normally worth a look.

Digg!
