Life gets busy
Late August through the end of September is by far the absolute busiest time of the year for me. Between the school year beginning at Yale, the kids going back to school, and everything else life is just nuts. So I’m sorry to say that my regular blogs will be somewhat irregular until things quiet down.
But through all the stress and tension I’ve got two new relief valves. Make magazine is a new publication dedicated to messing around with things. It recalls the old Popular Mechanics, which I loved as a kid! Ethan and I already built the marshmellow shooter (very funny) and have several more projects on our ‘drawing boards.’
My other savior is I’ve starting playing the banjo in earnest, even taking a lesson. Nothing like playing a banjo to cheer you up. Check out the Banjo podcast — its pretty good!
