New Feed logo
I caught this thread on Making RSS Easier from the Shifted Librarian blog. It’s funny how often we techie/early-adopter types get used to code words and jargon and never think that it may be scaring off potential new users. Most people don’t really care what RSS 1.0, RSS 2.0, Atom, and all the other stuff means, they just want ‘IT” to work. And if a new icon can help bring the revolotuion on then I’m all for it.
So I’ve changed my feed icon — if you aren’t subscribing, now’s your chance, jargon free! Just give it a click, it won’t hurt one bit!
