A new issue tracker

Garrett Dimon’s blog is one of my regular feed-reads.  He’s currently in the process of building an open-source issue tracking system, and blogging about the process.  He just launched the new company, with the requisite website and logo.  The screen shots and descriptions of the work in process sound very promising.  I’ve been looking for an issue tracker for our department, and there’s a lot of crap out there.  I’ve been running a trial of webAsyst for the last week and it look promising.  But somehow what Garrett is working on looks so clean, simple and well thought out, it seems like exactly what I’m looking for.  Hopefully he’ll have something released soon!

We’re creating a simple bug and issue tracker and blogging about it along the way. We think it’s a great way to get feedback and keep everyone updated on our status.
