In my search for an alternative I came across an announcement for a plug-in competition. What a great idea, and I eagerly look forward to seeing what comes out of it. Strong Community development support is what makes WordPress great — and the incentive of a little competition, peer recognition, and prizes will certainly bring forward some great stuff.

It is time for another WordPress Plugin Competition. Plugin competitions of the past have seen fantastic code, extremely useful and fun plugins and have generated a lot of interest in WordPress and plugin development.
