Ecofont is a font that promises to reduce the amount of ink used when printing documents. Less ink = fewer print cartridges = less cost = less stuff in landfills. And a better planet. The font is available for free download . So get a copy and be extra-green by setting your word processing program and other programs to default to this new font — instructions for changing the default fonts in Word and Excel are below. It is easy being green.
Set the default font – Word – Microsoft Office Online
On the Home tab, click the Font Dialog Box Launcher, and then click the Font tab.
Change the Default Font in Excel 2007 :: the How-To Geek
First click on the Office Button and choose Excel Options in the lower right hand corner of the resulting menu.
Ecofont | The green font with holes
The prints we make for our ‘daily use’ not only use paper, but also ink. But your ink cartridges (or toner) could last longer.
We have therefore developed a green font: the Ecofont.
