Garrett Dimon provides an insightful walk through the new Get Satisfaction app. Robust applications don’t have to be hard to use. It is delightful to see how a thoughtful approach, and a simple interface, can provide an easy to use resource. This reminds my of the principles put forth through 37 signals in their book Getting Real. As more apps move to web interfaces there is much to be learned from this simple, clean approach to design.

If you take a quick spin through the site, it’s easy to see, but it wasn’t until after I started using it myself and had a brief chat with Lane Becker, one of several people behind the interface, that I began to realize just how impressive their vision is.
