Like Mitch I too am finding Wordpress hacking becoming a second job. The more I dig into the program the more I like it. It doesn’t do everything, hence avoiding the complexity of more full featured tools like Drupal. But it is certainly much more than a blogging program — its really a content management solution. And with plug-ins you can do a lot of cool things. I really like the Pop-up image gallery from Yellow Swordfish:

And I’m looking at possible rolling out a WordPress MU installation and set up a test group of students to see if it will work for their public portfolio sites:
I haven’t gotten rolling yet, but by the end of February I plan to make Wordpress the center of a couple of web-design classes with students, so I’ve got to get started!
Mitch lists a couple of great wordpress resources too — thanks Mitch!
