• WordPress templates in Dreamweaver

ThemeDreamer is a Dreamweaver extension that allows easy WordPress theme design in Dreamweaver.  My normal process has been to build a set of pages with structural layout, but no css.  After I get the structure the way I want I create a static page and build the CSS.  This process invariably involves going back, tweaking things, and then regenerating the static page.   If I am working with another designer I may even get a page laid out that I have to chop up for the header, sidebar, footer and other standard WordPress sections.  It is all a bit of a pain!

ThemeDreamer promises to make this unnecessary.  And 10 minutes with the demo version looks pretty promising.  They are only at version 0.3 right now, with plans to work up to 1.0.  You can get a 15 day free demo, so it is certainly worth a serious look.
