LinkedIn Event – new feature

There is something I like about LinkedIn over Facebook.  Maybe it just feels more professional/work-related.  But I also wonder “what is it good for?”  LinkedIn events might be an answer.  It is a new feature.  I added a listing for the WordCamp Ed: NorthEast I am organizing for February 2.  And here is a special offer:  register before November 30 and send me an email to wordcamp@rodeworks.otherinbox.com — I will send you a special WordPress-themed present!
