Last February I helped plan a day long WordPress in education workshop. We had a great crowd who left the day energized, informed, and full of great ideas to take back to their workplaces. Plans are underway for a second WordPress in education event as part of the NERCOMP SIG program, and I would love your input. Here are the details:
WordPress University
Thursday, April 8, 2010
The Sheraton, Norwood, MA
I will be working on the day’s program over the next couple of weeks, and would love to hear your ideas:
My general thought is to focus more heavily on the multi-user version of WordPress – particularly the implementation and on-going maintenance aspects. I’m also looking for examples of where people have extended WordPress in interesting and innovative ways to go beyond the basic blog functionality. And it was great to have so much group participation last year, so we’ll continue that effort.
I look forward to hearing from you, and seeing you at the event in April. Many Thanks!
