Should mobile applications be device specific? Hell no, who wants to have to update their software every time Apple, RIM, or Noikia changes their hardware? Apps should be web based, but still work with the various device-specific interfaces, like tilting on the iPhone. This looks promising. Not much in the way of apps yet, but worth watching.
